Contrast of Color

"Somewhere in the Distance, Somewhere Toward the Mountains" - Flatsound
The contrast of color here is subtle, but I do think there is still a lot, especially comparing the top portion to the bottom portion. The muted oranges in the bottom, with my nephew's hair, skin tone and tans in the background compliment the blue wings that my niece is wearing as well as the sky in the background.
Affinity of Color

"Hand Me Downs"
These are some statuettes that I found in my Aunt's house and it was just too cute not to show. The colors here mostly range from tan to brown, so not a lot of range in color. When colors are close to each other on the color wheel, it is considered to be higher in affinity.
Warm Color

"The Sky Was Beautiful on Fire" - Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Ok, ignore the quality of this picture haha. Sunsets are one of my most favorite things in life (see the 10 Cool Things page). Although there is a fair portion of blues in this shot, the lowering sunlight coming in through the haze gives off a lot of orange, which makes the blues of the mountains turn into a warmer hue closer to purple.
Great photos as usual. Just a master at work really. The first one is awesome the wings really bring the whole piece together. The second one is in fact too cute not to show. Good job showing the affinity there. Nothing jumps out at you color wise. I also love sunsets and long walks on the beach so the last photo makes me all warm and fuzzy on the insides.
